Ask MCP: Classroom Organization

Any recommendations for organizing all of the papers that students need access to during MCP? I'm implementing math in 5th grade and am struggling to figure out how to have all of the guided notes, mastery checks, etc organized for easy student access. I'm also trying to figure out the best system for students turning in work. - Drowning in Disorganization

Dear Drowning,

The ship has not sailed on preserving your time and energy! Wave goodbye to disorganized materials - our checklist of ideas runs deep and can help you avoid wading through a sea of guided notes, mastery checks, and other materials. Bail yourself out of the flood of papers with a low-lift turn-in system or routine, such as baskets, trays, or even repurposed box lids, to manage the steady flow of incoming student work! Want more? These implementer videos showcase real-world approaches to organizing a Modern Classroom that help educators and learners move along swimmingly! The goal is to establish a manageable system to stay afloat in a blended, self-paced, mastery-based environment!
