Sarah Fawzy, SHRM-CP
Director of HR

Sarah is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) with a BA from Salisbury University. Sarah has proudly dedicated the last ten years of her career to companies and non-profits focused on K-12 education and lifelong learning. She started her career with Scholastic Book Fairs, where she developed a deeper understanding of the K-12 education system and the needs of students and educators across the globe. During this time, she discovered an interest in all things "HR" and has not looked back since! After receiving her SHRM-CP credential, Sarah joined the SHRM "Voice of Work Research Panel" to provide data that helps shape the future of the HR/ People Operations space.

At the Modern Classrooms Project, Sarah combines her passions for education and HR to manage MCP's benefits, wellness, recognition, policies and procedures, legal compliance, and employee recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts. Her goal is to ensure that the incredible MCP team has the tools and support to thrive by fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive workplace and never stop learning in the process!

When not supporting this incredible MCP team online, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and learning new skills.
