As Executive Assistant to the CEO & CGO, Zawadi supports a wide range of activities, including external relations, donor management, administration, and staff support.

Prior to her career providing high-level administrative assistance to executives, Zawadi taught African and African American Studies courses at the university level and worked as a fitness instructor.

Zawadi holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as master's degrees from Ohio State University and New York University. She derives joy from spending quality time with her loved ones, has a passion for gardening, and finds rejuvenation in daily walks. Zawadi is based in Durham, North Carolina.
