Moriah is a passionate, mission-driven administrative assistant with a love for details, accuracy, and efficiency. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations from Rice University and has spent her career working for environmental education programs across the country. Moriah is dedicated to diversity in all its forms and believes strongly that inclusive, supportive, flexible education cultivates resilient, compassionate humans. She is excited to bring her unique strengths to the classroom education world by supporting the finance team at the Modern Classrooms Project.

Having lived all over the U.S., Moriah currently resides in the small historic town of Oxford, MD, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. When she’s not staring out her home office window at the Chesapeake Bay, you can find her hiking with her rescue dog Fannie, cooking vegetarian, sailing, and knitting. She loves live music, community, poetry, and all things outdoors.
